FREE WORKSHOP FOR WCS BEGINNERS!
Austin Swing is excited to announce our Beginner Track – a program that offers a FREE introductory workshop in West Coast Swing on Saturday evening from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
It’s totally FREE! No weekend pass required. And you don’t need a partner! It’s a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to learn West Coast Swing. In just 2 hours, you will get all the basic steps you need to have fun on the dance floor!
If you are already a west coast swing dancer, this a great time to learn the opposite role or just to brush up on your understanding of the key components of the dance.
When you finish the workshop, if you decide you want to stay and join the evening fun, head over to the Registration desk and buy an “Evening Pass”. It’s good for all the evening activities and social dancing!

Comfortable clothes and leather-soled shoes are recommended. There is optional* social dancing after the workshop (*with an evening pass purchase). It’s a great way to practice your new skills and see firsthand all the amazing things that Westies can do!
