Co-Director
JOHN LINDO

John Lindo is an invaluable presence at West Coast Swing Dance events – from international conventions to regional workshops. He is director and/or board member of 7 WCS events as well as several WCS organizations and committees, including The Open and WSDC.

John also teaches, judges, coaches, choreographs, and is one of the most sought-after DJs on the circuit.

But all of that pales in comparison to the way John consistently wows crowds with his exciting and entertaining dancing.

MISSION & VALUES STATEMENT

Austin Swing is committed to creating a diverse environment where all people are treated equitably with dignity, courtesy and respect.

Each of us is unique and contributes to the community by the differences in who we are, what we’ve experienced, and how we think. For some, it means summoning the courage to stand up and speak out, sharing opinions or experiences. For others, it means listening with patience and empathy, creating an environment conducive to dialogue. For all of us, it means asking questions, respecting answers, being open to fresh perspectives, and most importantly, appreciating one another’s contributions to the community.

We believe our community is strongest when we embrace these principles as we work and dance together to make our vision a reality.

Thank you for helping us keep all our events safe.
